How does Pocket work?
Simply enroll (for free), fill your pocket (load funds) by credit card or debit card, and pay. Use at any participating Pocket location or wherever Discover Global Network is accepted.
Payment at participating Pocket locations is done via QR code using the app on your phone.
Payment at Discover® locations is done by making purchases in-store or online.

How do I enroll?
Download the app and fill out the short application (so that the bank can verify that you are who you say you are), and that’s it!
No fees, no credit checks, instant approval.

How much does Pocket cost?
Pocket is free to enroll, free for Discover® purchases, and has a $2 transaction fee to use for QR code purchases. There is no fee for balance refunds*. Please visit Pocket cardholder website and view the terms and conditions for a complete list of services and fees.

What payment cards are accepted for funding Pocket?
Visa®, MasterCard®, and Discover® cards are accepted for funding your Pocket account.

How can I check my balance?
Check your balance at any time by logging into your mobile app.

How much can I load?
The maximum amount of funds you can load to your account is $1,000 per day, $2,000 per week and $5,000 per month. The minimum funding amount is $10.00.

Where does Pocket work?
Use at any participating Pocket location or wherever Discover® is accepted.

How can I withdraw funds?
You may refund the balances loaded on to your card back to the original funding source from your Pocket account at any time*. Refunds can be made via the instructions on the mobile app.

How are my funds protected?
All funds deposited into your Pocket account are held securely at a bank where they are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Pocket is PIN-protected and your Pocket card is backed by Regulation E; so long as you follow the terms and conditions of your Pocket program, you will not be held liable for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions in the event your Pocket card is compromised.

What if my Pocket card is compromised?
If you believe your card has been lost or stolen, you should immediately contact Support via email: support@paybypocket.com or by calling the number listed on your cardholder website or mobile app.
If your card is used in connection with an unauthorized transaction that was processed through the Discover Network; or, if (i) you reported your card compromised to Pocket support, and (ii) you did not act grossly, negligently, or fraudulently in handling your card, your liability for such unauthorized use will not exceed $0.

* Balance refunds more than six (6) months after the funding date require a physical check to be mailed. This may incur an additional fee per the Cardholder Terms & Conditions.
